Hello! My name is Heather Wolfe. I live in rural Oaktown, Indiana on our farm with my loving husband Bryan and our 3 teenage children Dylan, Kyla, and Sharaya.
In July of 2019 I was diagnosed stage 1C with a rare subtype of Ovarian cancer called clear cell carcinoma of the ovary. Unfortunately this type of cancer has a poor prognosis even when caught early.

I had two surgeries and 18 rounds of chemotherapy. I finished chemotherapy in January of 2020. Unfortunately remission was short lived and I had a recurrence in my skin and lymph nodes in less than 6 months.

I had another surgery and 20 rounds of radiation. I finished radiation in December of 2020. I am now in a clinical trial with an immunotherapy drug called Keytruda. I have been receiving infusions every three weeks since January. These infusions are $28,000 every three weeks. If these treatments quit working we will be headed to MD Anderson to try to find another clinical trial.
